Refund policy

Returns
Our return policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or return. For exchange of size, you will need to purchase the exchange add-on in order to be eligible for an exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Sale, promotional and bundle items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If the defect in the product was caused by reasons other than materials quality or assembly process, the original product will be returned to you. We do not refund products:

  • Obtained from a source other than shop.runsociety.com
  • Damaged by abuse or negligence (exposure to chemicals, caustic substances, open flame, high heat, sharp object, etc.)
  • Damaged by misuse or activities other than the intended purpose (use of running shoes for court sports or hiking footwear as work boots, etc.)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
  • Sales, promotional and bundle items.

Can I change the size or color of an item in my order?
At this time we are unable to modify order details once an order has been placed. This includes changing the color or size of an item, swapping out items and removing individual items from an existing order.

If you notice that you’ve made a mistake on your order, please contact our customer service team within an hour and we will attempt to cancel or edit it with the correct details, please contact us here.

Please note: If we find that an order is no longer eligible for cancellation, you’ll be advised to return any items that comply with our Return Policy and are in saleable condition for a refund to the original form of payment. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

What should I do if my product arrives damaged or defective?

If you have received products which you did not order, a missing product or a damaged/defective product please do not remove any tag or take out the product from the original packaging. We would recommend you to contact our team at hello@runsociety.com and let us know the details of your package within 24 hours of receiving the items.

Our Customer Service team would also require you to provide visual evidence (e.g photo, video) of the products in order to expedite the process. You may need to return the defective item. 

When will you receive my return package?
After you send us your return package, it can take 2 - 7 business days for the package to get to us. Unfortunately, we cannot control how long it will take for your returned products to be delivered back to us.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@runsociety.com.

Sale, Promotional items or Bundle offer
Unfortunately, any sale, promotional items or bundle offers is NOT ELIGIBLE for any refund, return or exchange.

Can I exchange my products(s)?
We are only able to offer exchange if you have purchase the exchange add-on valid for 14 days.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should contact us at hello@runsociety first. Subsequently we will let you know when you can mail your product to.

Return can only be made via mail.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
